 Engraving lid instructions-

Glowforge settings- medium basswood hardwood. Remove crumbtray and place a small item underneath to give proper height before engraving.

Sublimation Instructions-

For use in a mug/tumbler press or convection oven. Convection oven requires the use of shrink wrap to apply pressure during baking.

Apply sublimation transfer on the surface of the glass using heat tape -make sure to wrap tight and place heat tape on seam lines. Securing it ensures less ghosting.

PLEASE NOTE: equipment varies and so may your required settings. Please test your own equipment using these baseline guidelines.

Convection Oven-

Apply shrink wrap using a heat gun to shrink it tight to the glass can. Use with caution.

Bake in a convection oven at approximately 375 degrees F for 6 1/2 to 7 minutes. Turn halfway through. Remove from oven and immediately remove shrink wrap and transfer. GLASS WILL BE HOT!! Protect your hands with heat gloves.

Tumbler press-

Temp will vary with heat press.

350 degrees at 240 seconds with medium pressure. Glass will be HOT. Remove with heat gloves and THEN remove sublimation paper and heat tape.

Hand washing is recommended as the high heat in many dishwashers may reactivate the ink and cause it to bleed.

For bamboo lids we recommend handwashing with soap and water only. Remove gasket.  Set out to dry.  Vinegar/Hot water 1/2 and 1/2 to remove odors. Do not allow lid to sit in a high moisture area for long periods of time due to possible growth of mold! Not dishwasher safe due to expansion of wood and risk of mold growth.

Avoid extreme temperature changes, as this may cause cracking or even explosion of the glass causing injury. After glass has been removed DO NOT emerge into cold water. Use heat gloves to prevent burns.

To make a straight image, I recommend using 9.75"x4.5"
